Biotechnix, Inc.

Biotechnix, the former research and development subsidiary of Enertechnix, Inc. conducted government-funded research primarily in the areas of aerosol sampling, trace explosives sampling, and personal exposure monitoring. The company received 27 government awards (SBIRs and BAAs) and successfully executed projects for the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, Energy, and for USDA and NIH. In 2018, the commercial business of Enertechnix was acquired by Valmet—the leading global developer and supplier of technologies, automation and services for the pulp, paper and energy industries. Biotechnix retained the patents and associated intellectual property rights from most of the R&D projects.
