Bird Gard was established with a focus on extensive research into safe and humane ways to repel nuisance pests while having minimal adverse effects on the environment. In collaboration with leading universities and agriculture extension agents doing research into animal behavior, a method was discovered of using the highly developed social structure of animals to control their behavior.
