Brandenburger Sewer

Brandenburger has been researching technology for trenchless sewer rehabilitation since the early 1990s. Today the company is one of the leading manufacturers. The seamless, light-curing GFRP pipe liner was developed by Brandenburger based on many years of experience with glass-fibre reinforced plastics and has been patented worldwide. It is manufactured in-house. It is used to rehabilitate damaged sewers safely and durably in record time. Heat Protection with a System

Brandenburger Thermal Insulation develops and produces heat protection plates for heated presses and moulds used in the plastics, rubber, and chipboard industries. These materials prevent energy loss and excessive heat emissions. External insulation on heat plates for reducing emision losses and flexible insulation systems for surface insulation of connection lines round out the thermal insulation products on offer.

Friction Bearing Materials / Rotor Blades

Brandenburger has developed special heat -resistant materials with excellent abrasion and frictional properties for highly demanding applications. These materials are used in pumps, turbines and rolling mills, as rotor blades in compressors and vacuum pumps, and as sliding strips in mechanical engineering applications.

High-temperature Insulation Materials

Combined with various other insulation components in fixed structures, these materials are suitable for temperatures of up to 1000°C. Some of the classic applications include sole plates and circular blanks in inductive soldering, clamps and fasteners in pipeline construction, especially in district heating, panelling for inductive coils, coil shells in electromagnetic induction pumps, explosion chambers in contactors and relays, as well as receptacles in the glass and steel industries.

Aerospace Industry

In a long cooperation with companies in the aerospace industry, Brandenburger has developed special ablation materials for combustion chamber panelling in rocket engines. These materials are especially suitable as heat shields against rocket emission streams on launch towers and ramps for space rockets. These materials are subject to intensive quality requirements and have excellent heat insulation and resistance properties with optimum ablation resistance.

Based on decades of experience in the manufacturing and processing of glass-fibre reinforced plastics, we developed the seamless Brandenburger liner in the early 1990s. The light-curing GFRP Inliner makes it possible to safely and permanently rehabilitate damaged sewers in the shortest possible time.

In the meantime, sewer rehabilitation projects have been carried out in 26 different countries. 2,000,000 meters of DN 150 - 1000 liner have already been successfully installed.

Brandenburger has attracted attention nationally and internationally with its UV-light curing, pipe lining system for trenchless rehabilitation of sewer. In the early 1990s, we developed a new process for manufacturing liners. As one of the leading systems it is employed today in Germany as well as in countries such as France, Poland, Japan and Australia.

On 1 July 2001, the Brandenburger Sewer Rehabilitation was established to bundle our research and development expertise with on-hands experience from many years of technical consulting and site monitoring. This enables us to perform the entire range of tasks related to sewer rehabilitation and to offer Brandenburger partners a comprehensive service for professional installation.

The Brandenburger Quality Management System

Public and private sewer operators have clear requirements for trenchless rehabilitation projects. They require that the rehabilitated sewers can be used for at least 50 years afterwards. This, in effect, defines the quality standards to be achieved. Only a thorough and well-organized quality management program, covering all steps from procurement to approval of the installed liner, will be able to meet these standards.
