Washing Systems

Tunnel Washers

Highly effective and energy-efficient cleaning of all plastic crate types: Line capacity up to 3,500 crates/hour, Extremely low water and energy consumption, High uptime and OEE, 2 or 4-side label removal. Brüel Systems tunnel washers provide high cleaning efficiency for foldable, bale arm, and rigid crates. With a line capacity up to 3,500 crates an hour, efficient 2 or 4-side label removal, and robust construction from stainless steel, our tunnel washers ensure high uptime and OEE (overall equipment effectiveness). They are service friendly and require little maintenance, lowering TCO and maintenance costs. Tunnel washers are carefully designed to match each individual application and typically include a dissolving section, a washing section, and an after-rinse section. Crates are transported through each section on conveyors before proceeding to the next process step.

Flume Washers

Extremely effective immersion cleaning for rigid and bale arm crates: Line capacity up to 3,500 crates/hour, Extremely low water and energy consumption, High uptime and OEE, 2 or 4-side label removal. Brüel Systems flume washers provide extremely high washing efficiency for bale arm and rigid crates. They are frequently used in bakery, meat, and seafood processing applications. A flume washer can process 3,500 crates an hour, efficiently removing even difficult stains and debris by fully immersing crates in detergent water. With 2 or 4-side label removal, robust construction, and maintenance friendly design, our flume washers ensure high uptime and OEE (overall equipment effectiveness). They are service friendly and require little maintenance, lowering TCO and maintenance costs.

Drying Systems

Double Or Single-Rotor Spin Dryer

Effective and energy-efficient drying performance for stacks of crates: Very effective moisture removal (less than 3 g of residual moisture), High uptime through robust and service friendly construction, Short drying cycle, Low energy consumption – saves 90% energy compared to a blow dryer. With a Brüel Systems spin dryer, entire stacks of foldable, rigid, or bale arm crates can be dried effectively in a matter of seconds, leaving less than 3 grams of moisture on each crate and preparing them for storage or re-use. Spin dryers can be specified with one or two lanes; each lane can handle one stack of full-size crates or two stacks of half-size crates with stack heights up to 1.200 mm.

Single Crate Spin Dryer

High-capacity, energy-efficient drying system for plastic crates: Very effective moisture removal (less than 3 g of residual moisture), High uptime through robust and service friendly construction, Short drying cycle: approximately 13 seconds, Low energy consumption – saves 90% energy compared to a blow dryer, The Brüel Systems single crate spin dryer is a fast and energy-efficient drying solution for single plastic crates. Its efficient drying performance allows you to stack and store cleaned crates with no risk of mould formation, and it consumes very little electricity. The crate is fed into the machine on a conveyor, centred, lifted into a spinning chamber, and secured in place. The crate is briefly spun around at approx. 750 RPM, drying all surfaces, corners, and holes using centrifugal force so that on average, only 3 g of moisture remain. The dried crate is lifted onto the outfeed conveyor and transported out of the machine.
