Building Monitoring Services (BMS) Limited`s main and subsidiary business activities are:- risk assessment, hot & cold water monitoring and inspection services, cleaning & disinfection, independent consultancy services, legionella awareness training and analytical services (incorporating chemical analytical services and microbiological analytical services). BMS conduct Legionella risk assessments, prepare schematic drawings, help to establish site record systems and conduct monitoring . BMS also conduct training sessions in legionella awareness for client management and site staff. BMS sub-contract cleaning & disinfection work to LCA-registered third parties, and sub-contract chemical & microbiological analysis to UKAS-accredited laboratories.

Building Monitoring Services Ltd was started in 1994 by dedicated professionals with a broad and lengthy experience in the specialised areas of water and air hygiene.

The original aim was to provide a source of advice which was completely independent of any remedial works or 'extra' services that may, or may not, be required.

This was so that clients could feel confident that they receive (and are being seen to receive) un-biased recommendations.
