BWB`s extensive portfolio of civil engineering projects ranges from simple drainage and access facilities for one off developments, to complex ground modelling and strategic infrastructure that supports communities. Where there is regulatory approval involved, we are experts in successfully managing the technical approval process associated with the various section agreements but without compromising on innovation.

BWB can promote flood alleviation schemes and mitigation which can be designed to provide protection as part of new developments or to address existing flooding issues within local communities. These projects involve close liaison with clients, local councils and the Environment Agency in order to assess and present the optimum solution for the flooding issues presented.

BWB have significant experience in the design and assessment of a variety of bridge structures, including Highway, Railway, and Footbridges. Our expertise enables a full range of design stage services to be offered throughout the project, from inception through to completion.

BWB provides multidisciplinary advice on energy and carbon management, ranging from policy development and strategy reviews, through to engineering design and implementation via planning and permitting support.

BWB have in excess of 25 years experience in the assessment and design of all building types, in a variety of materials. We have worked across all sectors, and including both refurbishment and new build. We are as used to dealing with complex, challenging city centre sites as we are open brown-field sites. We have extensive experience in the analysis and design of tall buildings, but are equally adept at inserting new basement structures into existing buildings.

We take ownership of our project work and as we have designed and co-ordinated many/all of the building systems, we feel we are best placed to give guidance to the end-user about operating their building efficiently. We work with the owners, end-users and maintenance staff in order that our design can achieve the full performance it was designed to deliver and the services systems can be operated as effectively as possible
