Attend CWWA's premier annual event! Meet senior departmental officials and learn about current, new and emerging federal and national (federal / provincial / territorial) programs and legislation impacting municipal operations. Discuss the roles of Canadian municipalities and federal departments in drinking water, wastewater and more. This unique annual opportunity provides you a venue to be informed, to express your concerns, to provide comments, and to influence Canadian federal and national policy. For the first time to commemorate CWWA's 25th year anniversary, a Tradeshow will be held in conjunction to the event from November 24 to 26, 2011.

The Canadian Workshop on Water Efficiency and Conservation is a one day Workshop bringing together leaders in water efficiency from across Canada. With a changing climate, aging infrastructure and increasingly stressed water supplies, water conservation is an important aspect of all water utilities management plans. This Workshop will encourage municipalities to explore alternatives and innovations that can lead to greater water use efficiency.
May. 17-19, 2011 Toronto
The Conference will bring together policy makers, regulators, managers of wastewater systems, consultants and related Associations with the goal of addressing changing policy and regulatory initiatives across the country. This Conference will provide valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities for wastewater managers in the coming years. The common goal of municipal wastewater services is to protect the environment and public health from pollutants and contaminants. With a theme of Facing Environmental Responsibilities the Conference will address and inform wastewater experts on current and emerging regulatory issues pertaining to the management of wastewater and stormwater in Canada, the continuous improvement in wastewater services in the face of new challenges, and new solutions provided by science & research.
Oct. 30, 2010 - Nov. 2, 2010 Saskatoon
With the objectives of assuring continuous improvement in drinking water services and Canadian public health in the face of new challenges, aging infrastructures and new solutions, the Conference will bring together the most topical reports and papers on drinking water issues. The 2010 Conference and Policy Forum will focus on the unique challenges faced in aligning research needs with reality in the drinking water situations across the country. The Conference will feature both oral and poster presentations.
Oct. 13-16, 2009 Victoria
This Conference will provide a unique national perspective on water efficiency and conservation programs, issues and initiatives - focussing on all aspects of municipal efficiency programs from technology, to best management practices, to policy and education programs. Normally these issues are addressed piecemeal, or on a regional basis - this event will provide a national Canadian perspective.

This Conference is intended to bring together policy makers, regulators, managers of wastewater systems, consultants and related Associations. Its goal is to identify and assess the changing policy and regulatory initiatives across the country and provide insights and possible solutions to the challenges to be faced by wastewater managers in the coming decade. The common goal is to protect the environment from pollutants and contaminants, whether they pass through municipal wastewater collection and treatment systems or not.
Oct. 4-7, 2008 Quebec City
With the objectives of assuring continuous improvement in drinking water services and public health in the face of new challenges, aging infrastructures and new solutions, the Conference will bring together the latest reports and papers on drinking water issues. These will be presented and discussed through oral and poster presentations, two policy fora and a public forum. The proposed Conference and Poster sessions will cover research findings, technical innovations, emerging issues, regulations and guidelines, monitoring and reporting.
Apr. 3-5, 2005 Montreal
The First Canadian National Wastewater Forum will bring together policy makers, regulators, managers of wastewater systems, consultants and related Associations. The Forum will address the policy and regulatory links needed to complement the `Source to Tap` initiatives currently under development in Canada i.e., we need to examine `Tap to Source`. The Canadian Water and Wastewater Association is the national voice of municipal water and wastewater utilities across Canada, recognized by federal and provincial / territorial governments.
