Carlo Gavazzi - Inductive Sensors
Carlo Gavazzi offers a comprehensive range of Inductive Sensors - primarily used to detect metal parts and objects. These sensors are used extensively in packaging and plastics machines, assembly lines and conveyor systems. They are available in a wide variety of styles and feature both digital (SCR, transistor) and analogue outputs. Carlo Gavazzi offers inductive sensors in cylindrical housings (from 4mm to 30 mm) with both standard and extended sensing distance and in a flat-pack housing.
Carlo Gavazzi - Capacitive Sensors
Carlo Gavazzi`s patented Tripleshield ™ Capacitive Sensors have become the standard all other manufacturers are measured against. All Tripleshield sensors are tested to withstand electrostatic discharges up to 40 KV, line transients up to 4 KV, and airborne noise (ie. cellular phones) up to 15 V/m. Furthermore, some models have built-in humidity compensation. Capacitive sensors will detect most materials - conductive and non-conductive. This makes them ideal for level detection in raw plastic delivery systems and in agricultural applications.
Carlo Gavazzi - Photoelectric Sensors
Carlo Gavazzi offers a large range of Photoelectric Sensors which are used extensively on packaging machinery, automatic door systems, and plenty of industrial applications. Our sensors are available in diffuse reflective, background suppression, reto-reflective, polarized, through beam, clear object detection, and colour recognition. We also offer a range of fibre-optic type sensors for applications where a conventional sensor cannot be used (space restrictions, temperature, atmosphere) Our range include VP series optical types (ideal for use in level applications). They are available in different housing materials which allow their use in various industrial cleaning solutions.
Carlo Gavazzi - Conductive Sensors
Carlo Gavazzi range of conductive Level Sensors is well suited to solve most level control applications. The new CL-series of intelligent conductive level controllers is used for level monitoring and pump control of conductive liquids. CLH models with flexible conductive level probe can accomodate up to five rods for four different levels of control. Operating levels in the tank can be easily modified by extending or cutting short the length of the electrodes. Conductive sensors’ typical applications are level control and flow detection, in agriculture, chemical, food and beverage, water distribution and treatment markets. Carlo Gavazzi Level Sensor range also includes sensors to detect non-conductive liquids, granulates, grains, and plastics: capacitive level sensors, ultrasonic sensors, magnetic level probes, and optical sensors.

Carlo Gavazzi - Monitoring Relays Devices
Carlo Gavazzi offers a comprehensive range of monitoring controls for monitoring of phase loss, incorrect phase sequence, phase unbalance, over/under current, over/under load, over/under frequency, and over/under voltage. Our products include current monitors, voltage monitors, power monitors, phase loss relays, and current transformers. These monitors are used in a wide range of applications for protecting motors against the damaging effects of single phasing and overloads (elevators, compressors, pumps, air conditioning systems, mixing tanks). They are also used for monitoring instrumentation signals (4-20mA, 0-10V), verification of machinery operation, detection of broken heater elements, monitoring of lights in critical areas (runway lights at airports), monitoring of ventilation fans, and in building automation systems.
Carlo Gavazzi - Timers
Carlo Gavazzi offers a comprehensive range of timers for mounting in the back of or for mounting on the front of panels.We offer a number of different housing types with either a SPDT or DPDT relay output. Covering most timing functions (On Delay, Interval, Off Delay, One Shot, Zero Speed, Star-Delta, and Recycler), our timers are suited for practically every application. Timers are frequently used in motor control centres, packaging machinery, HVAC equipment, control panels, and process control.

Carlo Gavazzi - Model CA12 - Capacitive Thermoplastic Polyester Housing Proximity Sensors
Capacitive proximity switches with a sensing distance of either 4 rnrn flush mounted in metal or 8 mm non-flush mounted. The switching points can be altered by means of the teach-in function. 3-wire DC output with selectable make (NO) or break (NC) switching and NPN Alarm. Carlo Gavazzi - Model CA18CAN/CAF - Capacitive Thermoplastic Polyester Housing Proximity Sensors
The CM 8CA.. capaciti ve proximity switches feature an improved 4th Generation TRIPLESHIELD™ technology. Furthermore, these sensors feature increased immunity to electromagnetic inteference (EMI), especially to frequency drives. Not only does 4th Generation. TRIPLESHIELD™ feature an increased EMI, but it also increases the immunity to humidity and dust. The implementation of stability indication eases the setup procedure as both Stable ON and Stable OFF positions are indicated by the Green and yellow LEDs. The sensing distance is increased by 25 % allowing room for additional stable detection. The Dust Alarm function gives an early warning that the sensing surroundings have to be cleaned. The Temperature alarm function raises an alarm if the sensing surface goes beyond 60 degree celcius. The sensor housing is featuring IP69K as well as approval by ECO LAB for cleaning-and disinfection agents.
