AQUOX® high purity grades of potassium permanganate are utilized for applications where the highest purity of potassium permanganate is required. We offer two high purity grades, ACS and pharma. Our ACS grade conforms to ACS specifications documented in Reagent Chemicals, current edition. Our pharma grade meets British Pharmacopoeia current edition. These AQUOX grades are offered only in Europe. Middle East, and Africa.

AQUOX^® Free Flowing (FF) Grade potassium permanganate, offered only in Europe, Middle East, and Africa, is a versatile oxidant used to treat drinking water, wastewater, industrial process chemicals, plus numerous other applications. With over a century of expertise, Carus stands as a leader in permanganate technology. The FF grade is specially formulated for ease of use in applications requiring dry chemical feeders, ensuring reliable and precise dosing.

AQUOX® technical grade of potassium permanganate, offered only in Europe, Middle East, and Africa, is a versatile oxidant used to primarily treat wastewater, industrial process chemicals, and numerous other applications. Carus has been producing AQUOX permanganate for well over 100 years and is the leader in permanganate technology and expertise. We recommend utilizing technical grade for applications where permanganate is being fed as a solution and particle size is not critical.

AQUA MAG® blended phosphates are a liquid concentrate of exceptional purity, clarity, and stability, designed as an effective corrosion inhibitor and sequestrant for potable and industrial water systems.

AQUADENE® blended phosphates are a water-soluble, liquid treatment specifically formulated to control lead leaching and provide multi-metal corrosion inhibition for surface water applications.

CALCIQUEST® is a high-quality, liquid water treatment chemical, effective as a corrosion inhibitor and sequestrant for potable and industrial water systems.

Free-Flowing Grade is recommended where potassium permanganate is subjected to high humidity conditions and where the material is to be dry fed through a chemical feeder or stored in a bin or hopper.

Eliminating hydrogen sulfide odors at remote sites, lift stations, and manholes is a challenge. CAIROX CR potassium permanganate tablets are designed to treat odors in municipal wastewater where feed equipment is not practical.  The CR (Controlled Release) technology is fast to react with hydrogen sulfide (think seconds) and other organic odor-producing compounds, making it an excellent choice when retention times are short. These tablets are a passive, safe, and easy to use treatment that is deployed in polyester mesh bags for rapid oxidation of hydrogen sulfide in wastewater lift stations or gravity interceptors.

CARUSOL liquid permanganate is an effective oxidant recommended for potable drinking water applications that require a concentrated permanganate solution. Applications include iron and manganese reduction, taste and odor control, disinfection by-product reduction, color reduction, and radium reduction.
