Dosing control system injects Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) into the exhaust upstream of the SCR catalyst. The DEF decomposes to ammonia (NH3), then passes through a static mixer and enters the SCR catalyst where NOx are reduced to nitrogen (N2).
