The FluoroCore™ M2 is a dedicated ELISPOT reader that additionally excels at high-throughput PBMC counting, and supports several assays that are standard in immune monitoring laboratories. Live cell counting is the rate-limiting step for testing multiple PBMC samples in ELISPOT assays, and the accuracy of this cell counting represents the largest variable in ELISPOT assay results. The FluoroCore™ is equipped with optics and an extra fluorescent channel which, along with CTL’s dedicated LDA Cell Counting Suite, can count dozens of PBMC samples within minutes, including the documentation of viability, and the calculation of resuspension volumes. 

This model enables advanced three-color FluoroSpot work, in addition to single- and double-color enzymatic ELISPOT analysis using white light. It excels at high-throughput counting of live and dead PBMC, which can be a rate-limiting step in ELISPOT/ FluoroSpot assays. Equipped with an additional tunable backlight, and enabled by a dedicated BioSpot™ Software Suite, the Ultra M2 is also a high-end reader for colorimetric and fluorescent neutralization and infectivity assays. This model is high-throughput capable, handling up to 400 plates per run when equipped with our automated plate loader. It has been designed for professionals working in the regulated or academic fields.
