Express Stack Probes

Century Geophysical - Model 4000 - Natural Gamma Temperature Tool with Telemetry

The 4000 stacked Gamma-Temperature-Telemetry Tool is designed to record natural gamma and temperature data while ensuring robust data transmission telemetry. This tool is compatible with other express stack tools and can be utilized individually or in conjunction with multiple tools. Its fully downhole digital capability allows for quick automatic setup and unique tool identification, necessitating assembly at the well site and allowing for customization to meet specific requirements. Key properties measured include natural gamma, with a scintillation detector of dimensions 2.9 x 10.2 cm and an offset of 25.4 cm. Temperature measurements are obtained via a thermal needle sensor with an offset of 115.57 cm. The tool has a length of 131.47 cm, diameter of 63.5 mm, and can withstand temperatures up to 126°C and pressure up to 350 kg/cm² (5000 psi). It weighs 18.37 kg and operates at a logging speed of 9 meters per minute. Tool number is 7201 and part number is 272000.

Century Geophysical - Model 4239 - Express Stack In-Line Litho Density Tool

The Series 4239 In-Line Litho-Density Tool employs two focused density detectors to compute borehole compensated density in real time while logging operations are underway. It further utilizes a photoelectric reader to measure the amplitude of returning gamma pulses, allowing for direct lithology determination. This tool can differentiate between various rock types such as sandstone, limestone, dolomite, shale, and others, represented as an additional logging curve. It also provides caliper readings. The tool necessitates the use of the 4000 Stack Gamma Ray Tool Sub for required telemetry functions and is compatible with all other Express Stack™ Tools except the 4841(DIL). The tool is fully digital, supports quick automatic setup, possesses a unique tool identification, requires assembly at the well site, and can be customized to meet specific needs. Specifications include a length of 348.13cm, an operating temperature of 125°C, a diameter of 6.35cm, pressure tolerance of 350kg/cm2, and a logging speed of 9m/min.

Century Geophysical - Model 4323 - Full Wave Express Stack Sonic Tool

The Full Wave Sonic tool by Century Geophysical is designed for recording formation travel times using a single transmitter and three strategically spaced receivers. This tool captures full waveform data, near, mid, and far travel times, borehole-compensated delta time, and calculated sonic porosity. Additionally, it records receiver gains, amplitude variations, and natural gamma. Operating on the principle of sound propagation through media, the system measures interval transit times over distances of approximately 3, 4, and 5 feet from the transmitter. Key features include a 24 kHz piezoelectric transmitter, thermoplastic polyester acoustic isolator, a diameter of 63.5 mm, and a length of 354.4 cm. It operates effectively up to 120°C and 5000 PSI, with a logging speed of 9 meters per minute. This downhole digital tool allows for quick automatic setup and unique tool identification, making it suitable for various custom applications in geophysical surveying.
