Model CV & CV-Lug - Dual Disc Check Valves Wafer and Lug Style
Champion wafer check valves are designed for installation in flanged piping systems, between two flanges. Valves may be installed in vertical or horizontal piping. Care must be taken to always install the valves with the shafts in a vertical position when installing in a horizontal pipeline. Vertical up flow is always a good installation. Consult factory for vertical down flow. Champion wafer check valves are designed to provide long service life if the velocity is kept within the flow rate shown in the table on page 7 and if a minimum of 5 pipe diameters of straight pipe in front of the valve is maintained downstream from a likely cause of turbulence (i.e., pump discharge, reducers or elbows).
Model NZW - Axial Flow Wafer Nozzle Check Valve
Unique, patent-pending laminar flow design of our NZW combines optimal Cv with minimal slam characteristics. The NZW axial flow pattern, developed through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), creates a disc contour that provides minimal energy loss and low ΔP. Easy face-mounted seat assembly allows full maintenance access to all components with no leak paths in the valve body. Dynamically engineered molded seat design provides secure, bubble-tight seal using a variety of elastomer materials, along with a 316 SS option that is integral to the valve face.
Model FV - Foot Valve with Inlet Screen
The primary purpose of a foot valve is to maintain the suction head in a vertical pump suction line and eliminate the need for priming a pump each time it is started. CVI`s check valves can be converted into an excellent foot valve by attaching our foot valve accessory package.
Model SCG - Globe Style Silent Check Valve
Designed to positively close before a reversal of flow takes place to facilitate silent operation. Closure at approximately ½ psi positive head on the inlet port of the valve prevents water hammer. All internal support hardware, including disc, spring, braces, brackets and screws, are manufactured of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. 2” through 24” body sizes supplied with ASME Class 125 pressure rating. 316 Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel and Ductile Iron body designs available with metal or resilient seat sealing options. The one-piece body design eliminates leak paths to ensure superior performance. All SCG Silent Check Valves are thoroughly tested and inspected to meet our strict ISO 9001 quality system standards. Fully lined elastomer insert provides complete isolation of the process media. Simplifies piping, optimizes space utilization, and lowers installation costs.
