Claro is pleased to offer the Center Screen perforated band fine screen designed for water & wastewater screening applications that require an exceptionally accurate and high level of debris capture with no possibility of screenings carry-over. The Center Screen is ideally suited for the protection of sensitive process equipment such as MBR membrane technologies and floating & fixed media. It has been applied in water & wastewater applications and can be fitted with stainless steel perforated panels or a mesh filter band. The unit has significantly more filter media cross-sectional screening area than perpendicular-to-channel perforated-plate designs and yields higher flow-through capacity, lower headlosses, thicker ‘screenings filter matting’, and lower runtimes for better separation, longer equipment components life & less energy use.

Claro is pleased to offer an innovative fine filter perforated drum-type screen that can be installed in a channel or in its own tank. This unit’s unique design provides the largest filter surface of any channel-mounted drum screen design, which enables micro sieving as well as fine screening. Specially-developed for the protection of very sensitive process equipment and for a very compact footprint. Influent or process water is filtered from the outside front, bottom and rear of a filter drum that is positioned perpendicular to the influent flow either in a channel or in a free-standing tank. Screened liquid exits from the inside of the drum, which offers an absolute separation between the dirty and clean side of the filtration media with no possibility for material carry-over.

The Claro Drum Screen is a simple & robust screen well-suited for a variety of pumped municipal wastewater, potable water & industrial applications. Influent or process water is filtered from the inside of a moderately inclined filter media drum with an absolute separation between the clean & soiled filtration side. Interior flights convey the separated solids via the drum’s rotation to an integrated transport conveyor and/or wash press.
