Clean Earth services

ESMI of New York, located in Fort Edward, New York, is permitted to accept non-hazardous soils contaminated with the following: MGP Waste (Coal Tar), Conventional Fuels, Oils (Animal, Vegetable, Tall, Used, Electrical, Transformer), and Urban Fill.Materials received at ESMI of NY are stored within an environmentally sound 30,000 square foot storage building with a storage capacity of 15,000 tons. Materials are pre-processed to remove debris not suitable for thermal desorption. Such materials are appropriately recycled or disposed.Treated soils may be purchased for use as fill material for various uses and sites.

Onsite Thermal Desorption

ESMI offers Onsite Thermal Desorption Treatment of hazardous and non-hazardous contaminated soils. ESMI"s Portable Unit can be erected in most any location. With the same treatment capacities as our fixed facility locations, ESMI Onsite Treatment may be an economical option when you consider the treated material could be utilized as onsite backfill.

Fill Material / Recyclable Soil

ESMI of New York offers thermally treated soils for sale as backfill for sites ranging from Industrial to Residential. All soils destined for sale must meet the requirements set forth by New York State for beneficial reuse. Please note that the thermal desorption process does not alter the structural integrity of the soils. Gradation and proctor analyses can be provided upon request.ESMI can also deliver rubble, stone, sand, topsoil, and mulch. ESMI can facilitate backhauling of these products to your project sites to assist in cutting costs.

Transportation Services

If you need assistance in finding trucking, scheduling trucking to and/or from your jobsite, or just wish not to deal with the day to day scheduling of trucks, ESMI can assist you by providing such services.ESMI owns/operates and works with highly competent trucking companies to provide transportation services for our clients. Sampling

ESMI can facilitate the pickup and transportation of samples from your job site to a NELAP Certified Laboratory. If additional sampling services are needed, ESMI can work with our network of reputable environmental contractors to meet your sampling requirements.
