ClearStream Clarifiers
ClearStream - Segmented Blade Clarifiers
Settled sludge is directed to the center by multiple blades pushing the sludge to the center over multiple passes of the rake arm. Raking blades turned at an approximately 45-degree angle are supported from two structural support arms. The settled sludge is plowed inward from one blade to another until it is deposited into a sludge pit.
ClearStream Nautilus - Spiral Blade Clarifiers
Just like its namesake, the spiral blades of the ClearStream Nautilus™ Spiral Blade Clarifiers are designed for function and strength and the precise sludge transportation rate required by the application and the clarifier sizing. Because of the high rate of sludge removal with spiral blades, there is practically no less risk of denitrification or secondary phosphorus release due to sludge age. In addition, if the Rakes are run at the proper speed, there is little or no plume formation which could impact the effluent solids level.
ClearStream - Suction Header Clarifier
One or two round or square tapered headers stretch from a manifold radially across the bottom of the clarifier. Varying size and spaced orifices located in the leading edge of the suction header are designed to draw settled sludge at an even removal rate across the entire basin floor. Through pumping, or head differential, settled solids are drawn through the header into the manifold and out of the clarifier.
ClearStream - Suction Pipe Clarifier
Suction or Riser Pipe design works by lowering the water level in the RAS box causing a head differential between the water level in the tank and the RAS box causing settled solids are drawn up from the tank floor into the RAS box. An adjustable orifice in the RAS valve allows the amount of settled solids to be optimized from the different locations of the clarifier bottom. Blades on the rake arm are arranged in a “V” pattern to direct the collected sludge towards the Suction Pipe.
ClearStream - Solids Contact Clarifiers
Solids contact clarifiers combine the process of mixing, flocculation and sedimentation in a single tank. Recirculation of solids and mixing is accomplished by a radial or axial impeller. Flocculation occurs within the reaction well. Sedimentation occurs in the clarification zone. The clarifier is comprised of a mixing zone, flocculation (reaction) zone, sludge blanket zone, and a clarification zone. An impeller draws concentrated settled solids from the bottom and mixes them with the lower solids concentration influent and disperses it into the reaction well.
ClearStream - Rectangular Clarifiers
ClearStream has extensive experience and expertise in plastic chain scrapers. This gives our customers dependability and operational reliability with truly innovative solutions. We provide customized lamellar settler solutions for any application.
ClearStream - Inclined Plate Clarifiers (IPS)
Inclined Plate Settlers (IPS) are used to accelerate precipitation of solids in water and are optimized to achieve maximum performance during the clarification phase. This equipment, is very efficient compared to conventional static systems, have a modular structure. As such, they require minimal installation space and are easy to handle. Further advantages include lower management and maintenance costs as well as the possibility of recycling a large part of process water.

Drive components are commercially available almost anywhere in the world. Designed using precision-ground, 4-point contact, integral gear/bearing. Over 175,000 hours (20 years) AGMA gear life. Over 100 years bearing life. Designed without lower pinion bearing. Greater drive unit reliability. Large, accurate, hydraulic torque gauge calibrated in units of torque.
ClearStream RapidStream - Highrate Solids Contact Clarifier / Thickener
The ClearStream RapidStream™ builds on proven technology to provide Chemical Mixing, Solids Contacting, Thickening, and High-rate Clarification in an economical footprint. CleasrStream’s 20+ years of experience in building all types of sedimentation equipment allows us to provide clients with custom equipment optimized for their needs.
ClearStream - Thickeners Used In Municipal, Industrial and Minerals Applications
Thickeners are used in municipal, industrial and minerals applications to take solids from other liquid solids separation processes and thicken the solids prior to further dewatering. The drive is mounted on the walkway or bridge. The rotating portion of the drive turns a structural torque tube or shaft, which in turn rotates the solids removal mechanism. ClearStream cage driven and center column supported thickeners can be supplied in sizes in excess of 400’ diameter.
