Qwik-Freezer equipment utilizes liquid carbon dioxide (CO₂) to freeze stationary water in selected sections of pipe or tubing. By producing very low `dry ice` temperatures, Qwik-Freezer forms a secure in-line ice plug. This temporarily isolates the water in the system and allows repairs or modifications to be made without draining down or shutting off systems.

COB Industries now offers Multi-Size Inflatable Stoppers in a larger range of sizes with the NEW MLS (Stoppers) and FXBP (Bypass Plug) models. MLS and FXBP Plugs offer versatility, flexibility and durability with reinforced ozone protected natural rubber construction*. These plugs are extremely popular in all types of construction, water and sewer, and pipeline maintenance applications.

The Qwik-Fit Cylinder Plug is an inflatable plug with a rugged polyester cover which may be inflated to a high internal pressure to hold against as much as ten pounds of pressure in the pipe. Qwik-Fit Cylinder plugs should be inflated to the pressure given on the card fasteded to each plug. These pressures are listed below. Cylinder Plugs inflated accourding to these directions will hold against a pipe pressure equal to about 60% of the pressure in the bag. Use a gauge and monitor this pressure.

Low pressure expansion pipe plugs available in a variety of styles including Turn-Tite, Snap-Tite, Hex- Nut and Thumb-Nut pipe Plugs. These plugs provide a quick and easy air tight seal for little to no pressure applications. Available for 3/8” – 4” sizes. (Hex Nut and Thumb Nut styles not pictured.) Neoprene rubber plug with brass handles and zinc plated steel hardware.

Qwik-Gate plugs can be used to change out valves, add fittings or make line repairs and test lines without shutting off water or draining lines. Seals withstand temperatures from -25°F to 225°F. Qwik-Gate plugs can be used on copper, steel or PVC lines and are rated for up to 65 PSI.

More and more customers are having customized plugs built to address requirements associated with specific applications. These include self-restraining plugs to fit almost any size pipe, with pressure capabilities upto 250 PSI and more. Plugs are available with either mechanical or inflatable seals.

It measures and clearly indicates actual oxygen levels in parts per million down to 10 parts per million on an alpha-numeric display.The unit is menu driven by four buttons on the front panel and has an internal alarm with high and low oxygen levels which can be set on the front panel. A unique new sensor is used which has very little maintenance requirement and tests have shown that it should last up to five years. An optional software package is available to allow a computer to be used to store and print results and graphs etc for quality control purposes.
