It’s a robust system, but also engineered to make those inevitable wear parts easily replaceable. Much like your car which needs periodic oil changes, tire rotations, or new brake pads to keep it running well, keeping your blasting equipment running as smoothly as the day you bought it also requires some periodic maintenance.

Step on the foot pedal and blasting starts. Lift your foot and it stops. That’s how it is supposed to work.
