Continental Carbon Group’s PHOENIX is a state-of-the-art hydrogen sulfide (H2S) removal system. PHOENIX^® is simply the most effective means of removing airborne H2S, the most prevalent odorous compound present in wastewater treatment. PHOENIX^® radial flow canisters, using water washable CENTAUR^® HP carbon combined with our patented segmented reactor design, produce a system that can continuously remove up to 50 ppm of H2S with 99% average efficiency.

CCG’s MINI PHOENIX PLUS Odor Control System is an integrated 3-stage system which consists of a 1st stage carbon unit and our proven patented PHOENIX^® technology for the 2nd and 3rd stages. The 1st stage High Flow HF carbon unit utilizes a bed of high activity activated carbon for the removal of reduced sulfur compounds (RSC) and organics. The 2nd and 3rd stages employ the state-of-the-art PHOENIX^® technology which is simply the most effective means of removing airborne H2S, the most prevalent odorous compound present in wastewater treatment. This combination produces a complete odor control system that can continuously remove RSC, organics, and up to 50 ppm of H2S with 99% time-weighted average efficiency which will result in the best odor reduction possible.

CCG is a well-equipped to provide a turnkey ECA approved temporary filtration system(s) to deal with any type of contaminated water for discharging effluent water on site anywhere across the Province of Ontario.

Custom systems and stainless-steel tanks for Carbon, Multi Media, Sand etc. filtration can be provided for various industrial and municipal applications in TSS, Organics, Inorganics removal from water. Media filtration is the most effective method for removal of suspended organic and inorganic solids from water down to 20 microns. Media filters operate on the same basic principle as nature’s own ground water filtering process. Contaminated, unfiltered water enters the system through the inlet in the top of the filter and flows, with gravity and under pressure, through the media bed where solid particulates are entrapped. This occurs until the filtration system initiates an automatic backwash to expel all contaminates entrapped within the media bed. These media filters are known for their capacity to extract and hold large amounts of water-borne particulate while continuing to deliver the rated flow of clean water.

CC-HC30S is a pelletized activated carbon that has been specially design for odor control of sewage treatment operations.  It has the highest single-use H2S capacity in its class.  Made from selected grades of coconut shell, its superior level of hardness makes it cleaner than most other carbons and gives it a longer life expectancy.  The uniformity of its shape makes it particularly attractive in applications where low pressure drop is a consideration.

CC-IPA is a pelletized bituminous coal-based activated carbon that is impregnated with a specially formulated acidic solution that makes it particularly effective at removing ammonia (NH³) and other amines from vapor streams.

CCG’s Zeolite filter media is naturally occuring mineral (Clinoptilolite) that is highly processed and graded. It’s unique properties allow it to radically alter the performance and cost of media filtration. The hardness, stability and micro-porous character of this media makes it a perfect filtration media for virtually every application in the water and wastewater treatment industry.
