Temperature sensors are installed routinely within equipment such as fridges and freezers where blood products are stored. Regulatory guidelines specify product mimic temperature (also known as core / load temperature) must be monitored in addition to air temperature. We offer a range of product mimics characterised to mimic blood products. Contronics’ product mimics are used by UK Blood Services and many other NHS Trusts.

Our Humidity sensors have been used extensively for incubators and room humidity monitoring. Cold chain monitoring requirements often include humidity level monitoring for warehousing, pharmacy and other controlled storage environments.

We install Oxygen Depletion sensors extensively in liquid nitrogen storage areas, linked to our environmental monitoring systems and safety systems. Additionally, we also install oxygen level sensors to CO2 incubators.
