The research is also producing strategies to effectively, and positively, engage with communities to manage perceptions surrounding remediation technologies and their application.
Toxicity and Risk Assessment Services
CRC CARE`s students are researching into the fate and dynamics of contaminants, and are developing methods for estimating the reasonable maximum exposure and risk to human health and ecosystems.
Soil Management and Remediation Services
Aligned to the Cleaning Up program students are investigating technologies, indicators and strategies for the management and remediation of contaminated soil. They also investigate ways to address the limitations of existing assessment and remediation technologies as applied to Australia’s unique soils environment.
Water Management and Remediation Services
