Cresswood
Dun-Rite Tool and Machine was incorporated by Ronald Cress in 1963. In 1979, Ronald shifted the business from a fabrication and machine shop to a manufacturer of combustion recycling equipment. In 1989, Ronald and current owner Jack Cress uncovered a need for more reliable industrial low speed single shaft grinders and shredders in the recycling industry; which inspired the formulation of Cresswood Recycling Equipment (currently known as Cresswood Shredding Machinery). Fast forward to today, Cresswood manufactures the world`s most robust and reliable shredders and grinders for size reduction and recycling of plastic, wood and paper. Engineered for durability and custom manufactured for your specific application requirements, our expert team delivers decades of experience to tackle any processing challenge. Unleash the power of innovative engineering and precision manufacturing with a Cresswood industrial shredder and grinder.

Put the power of over 35 years of experience to work for you. Our single shaft grinders and shredders are engineered for reliability and performance. With innovative technologies and replaceable key wear components, you can count on your Cresswood to perform like new for years to come.
Since day one, we've been focused on continuously improving our single shaft shredders and grinders. There's a reason they're called The Destroyer. They're engineered to tear through any recycling, scrap recovery, secure destruction, biomass or material process application.
Additionally, Cresswood shredders and grinders are designed and built for years of trouble-free operation and application specific flexibility. Cutting head geometries and indexable cutting teeth can be customized to maximize throughput for pallets, wood scrap, paper, plastic, document destruction and mixed-source materials down to ultra-uniform particle sizes.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENTOur investment in research and development and precision manufacturing has allowed us to continually improve our product year after year. Advancements such as Cresswood's Ever-New technology have been developed with maintenance operators in mind. Our single-shaft, low RPM Destroyer series grinders have been engineered to take durability and renewability to the next level. By identifying critical wear points experienced with extreme grinding applications, customers can replace wear components and perform rebuilds quickly and easily. Our Ever-New innovations pay dividends with benefits such as extended longevity, reduced downtime and low total cost of ownership.
