Bioaerosol Monitoring Services

CEL also provides bioaerosol analysis for a wide variety of sites where potential bioaerosol emission might occur. CEL can undertake the site monitoring for the boundary bioaerosol analysis according to the AFOR protocol (using the Anderson samplers) or for personnel monitoring using CIP 10M monitors according to the HSE protocol. The samples are then plated, incubated and bacterial colonies enumerated. CEL will provide a laboratory report or a full detailed report with recommendations if required.

Dust and Water Analysis Service

As part of personnel dust monitoring, CEL provides accurate measurement of inhalable dust from filter papers using a micro balance with a readability of 0.001mg. This will be an important tool to assess work exposure to dust and will be critical with the changing HSE regulations regarding acceptable levels of dust exposure.
