CSM - Catalytic Oxidizer
CSM`s catalytic oxidizer (CatOx) performance-guaranteed systems use precious metal catalysts to achieve low-temperature oxidation of VOCs and CO from gaseous waste systems. Up to 99% of VOCs and CO will be destroyed by conversion to harmless carbon dioxide (CO2) and water vapor. Applications of our catalytic oxidizers span all industries using organic solvents, including chemical, printing, lamination, and tape manufacture, and coating operations of all kinds. Solvents that can be easily handled include a wide range of alcohols, ketones, aldehydes. aromatics, and hydrocarbons, both saturated and unsaturated.
CSM - High-temperature Thermal Oxidation Systems
High-temperature thermal oxidation is a longstanding CSM specialty. Our thermal oxidizers accomplish the same oxidation processes as our catalytic oxidizers. However, thermal oxidation is initiated in an oxidation chamber to combust pollutants at the elevated temperature of about 2000 °F.
CSM - Selective Catalytic Reduction Systems
Selective catalytic reduction (SCR) is classified as Best Available Control Technology (BACT) for NOx abatement by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in many industrial applications. CSM designs, manufactures and installs high-performance SCR systems that have been classified BACT in certain applications in some of the most stringent air districts, including the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) of Southern California.
CSM - SCR Systems
CSM has developed the REDOx™ system, which consists of a unique combination of catalytic oxidation and SCR to achieve the best of these two technologies. In many cases, catalytic oxidizers can be retrofitted to achieve NOx reduction or converted to a REDOx™ system.
CSM - Auxiliary Equipment
Depending on the specific requirements of an air pollution control application, CSM may recommend additional front-end or back-end attachments to ensure that your solution is complete as well as cost-effective.
