Whether you need a basic solution for a simple system or a complete material handling system for a complex process, Cyclonaire will maximize your operation and meet your company’s exact needs.
The original invention on which Cyclonaire was founded was developed and patented in the early 1960's by Roe Black of Aurora, Nebraska. Black's invention relied on a single 15 PSI blower combined with a Venturi to vacuum load and discharge a five cubic foot pressure tank into a convey line.
In 1966, the manufacturing rights were sold to York Manufacturing Company. At that time, the “pneumatic transporter” was best known for the role it played in the construction of Interstate 80 through Central Nebraska. Much of the cement used in the construction was unloaded from railcars by Cyclonaire equipment.
In 1973, Cyclonaire Corporation was founded, and the marketing and manufacturing rights for Cyclonaire were purchased. Since then, Cyclonaire has experienced steady growth.
Emphasis has broadened from railcar unloading systems to include pneumatic transfer application of all types. We work with hundreds of different materials across the broadest spectrum of industrial applications. We continue to be a custom design/build pneumatic conveying systems supplier, and have become a recognized leader in material handling for process and transportation industries. Handling materials from adipic acid to zircon, Cyclonaire offers vacuum, pressure and vacuum/pressure based technology, conveyors, and allied components.
Cyclonaire Corporation will aggressively strive to enhance its position as a leader in technology and service in the markets we serve. We will focus our resources to build long-standing and meaningful relationships with our customers, employees, sales organizations and suppliers.
Virtually every conveying application has its own unique specifications and requirements. An important part of the installation design process is a full-scale test at the Cyclonaire System Proving Facility.
As part of our process, we can offer to review and evaluate your conveying project and requirements. Then we’ll perform material analyses and conduct full scale convey and rate/capacity tests. After testing, we'll back our proposal with a system guarantee. The advantage is the ability to ensure that equipment is properly designed and sized while minimizing the customer’s investment capital.
Building Environmental Awareness with 445 Technology
Preserve the work environment and the environment around you with Cyclonaire Corporation's eco-friendly components and systems, which are easily identifiable by the company's '445 Technology' classification. Our products with 445 Technology maintain maximum efficiency while reducing contamination and air pollution, lessening noise, eliminating harmful spillage and conserving energy. By identifying products as part of the Cyclonaire 445 Technology conservation program, customers can easily select components and systems that will improve the environment both within their own facilities and as part of a larger, worldwide effort to preserve our planet.
The name '445 Technology' refers to the maximum greenhouse emissions threshold in the atmosphere established by conservationists, including the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a U.N. network of more than 2,000 scientists. At that rate—445 parts per million—emissions begin to pose a health risk, harm the environment, shift climate patterns, and severely impair the Earth. While we are aware that instituting the 445 Technology plan will not entirely eliminate greenhouse emission issues, we believe every effort counts. It is our goal to make it easier for companies to improve working environments around the world, while raising awareness for the need of improvements.
We all need to care about our environment. Something as simple as eliminating dust in the air or conserving energy by designing smart systems with highly efficient components is a step in the right direction.
