Sewerage Systems
The gravity sewer system for the transportation of wastewater and stormwater in Germany has historic origins and is established country-wide in closed and open channel systems. In particular over the last three decades, numerous statutory regulations have come into force which were to standardise both the planning, construction and the operation of sewer systems. Of particular significance is the examination and expansion of existing sewerage systems with a view to the legal requirements.
Solid Waste
Due to the growing shortage of raw material reserves and increasing environmental loading, making best use of recycled raw materials and the safe storage of non-recyclable residues is gaining ever more in significance. Recycling and reprocessing of residues, solid wastes and wastewater require expensive physical and chemical processes. Secure landfilling on non-usable solid wastes require deep knowledge of the processes in the ground and in the groundwater.
