AB 32 GHG Reporting Services

The Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006 (also known as Assembly Bill 32 or AB 32) was signed into California State Law by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on September 27, 2006.  AB 32 required the California Air Resource Board (CARB) to develop and enforce a mandatory regulation for greenhouse gas emissions reporting in the state of California.  CARB implemented a regulation in 2007 that required certain facilities to report and verify their AB 32 greenhouse gas emissions.

SPCC plan or Spill Prevention, Control, & Countermeasure plan was promulgated through the Oil Pollution Prevention Regulation codified at 40CFR Part 112 and enacted in 1974 by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).  As part of the Clean Water Act (CWA) an earlier federal law adopted in 1972 the EPA adopted the Oil Pollution Prevention Regulation.  This regulation established requirements for prevention, preparedness and response to oil discharges at specific non-transportation related facilities.
