Thermopile - Thermal Treatment in Situ or On Site Applications

Confronted to classic systems of thermal desorption, thermopile is consuming less energy, producing less emissions and is completely free of noisy, dusty and polluting transport systems for evacuation.

Physico-chemical Treatment Unit

The physico-chemical treatment is a separation treatment by particle size, gravimetric and magnetic sorting. The contaminants adsorbed on the fine particles, previously separated from the coarse particles, are transferred to the aqueous phase and the treatment consists of a concentration of the pollutants in a small volume of soil (the most polluted) thanks to the separations and attritions used in the particle size separation: pre-screening or Physico-chemicalcalibration, magnetic separation, disintegration unit or sludge trap, screening, hydrocycloning, density separation, gravity separation by sedimentation, filtration and dehydration of fine particles. The goal is to separate as much as possible the fine fractions containing the most of the pollution.

In situ Thermal Unit

The thermal desorption is a technology to treat soil pollution by wearing high temperature lands. Thermopile © treatment is an innovative implementation of thermal desorption invented by Deep Green. This technique is the subject of a patent for which Deep Green has worldwide exclusivity. As with conventional thermal desorption treatments, the contaminated soil is first heated to a temperature sufficient for the pollutants to evaporate (desorption phase), then these pollutants, once in the gaseous phase, are conveyed to a chamber of combustion where they are permanently destroyed. The technology applies to soil polluted with hydrocarbons (aliphatic, mono-aromatic or poly-aromatic), halogenated organic pollutants or certain inorganic pollutants such as cyanides.
