Design Controls - Inline Turbidi Meter

Our inline turbidimeter is designed for a wide range of turbidity monitoring in various applications, being configured with a specific scale for NTU detection, offering high resolution and accuracy even in high turbidity applications commonly using suspended solid meters. This sensor is more robust and tolerant to fouling, rendering alternative turbidity sensors inferior due to particulate and air bubble challenges.

Design Controls - Inline Corrosion Probe

Our inline corrosion rate monitoring utilized the linear polarization resistance (LPR) method to produce a raw signal that is conditioned, amplified and digitized directly in the sensor itself. It is a valuable tool that can be easily and affordably deployed to provide both general and localized corrosion measurements quickly. Using an inline LPR corrosion sensor differs from using corrosion coupons, because the LPR corrosion level represents the real-time electrochemical measurement of corrosion on an MPY scale based on the assessed metallurgy, whereas corrosions coupons cannot provide such real-time measurements.

Design Controls - In-Line & Submersible Conductivity Sensors

Conductivity sensors from Design Controls are designed for continuous conductivity monitoring, either installed in a pipe or submersed in a tank. They are constructed of Ryton and have 3/4″ MNPT treaded ends. They may be used up to 150 psig.

Design Controls - Multi-Valve Module

The Design Controls Multi-Valve Module is designed for metering the flow of Halogen to pasteurizer zones. Our MVM allows for visible monitoring of individual halogen feed to each zone. This also allows for easy sampling of halogen. In the event of a plugged line our unique design allows zone spillover to flow into the adjacent section and not out onto the Pasteurizer. Reducing ugly staining of the Stainless Steel units. Our modular design can be adapted to any pasteurizer design existing or new. Along with feed separation of pasteurizer “HOT” or “COLD” zones.

Design Controls - Gas Chlorination System

Gas chlorination typically uses gaseous chlorine that is dosed into potable, process, reclaim, and waste waters prior to distribution.  Often, these systems use vacuum operated feeders offering maximum safety, and allowing flexible designs for different control strategies.  It is typically one of the least expensive methods of chlorination for disinfection or biocide control, but comes with inherent risks that must be mitigated through management, training, and proper application to avoid harmful byproducts.

Grundfos - Split Case Centrifugal Pump

The PACO KP/KPV split case pump is a single-stage, non-self-priming, between bearing, centrifugal volute pump. The axially split design allows easy removal of the top casing and access to the pump components (bearings, wear rings, impeller, and shaft seal) without disturbing the motor or pipe work. The pump is available in horizontal (KP) and vertical (KPV) configurations.

Static Mixers

Design Controls - Clear PVC Static Mixers

In response to a growing need for a high quality mixer at a lower price, Koflo has developed the Series 308 Static Mixer. This unit is a clear PVC mixer, which unlike other mixers, allows for a visual inspection of the mixed product. All Series 308 mixers are made in standard 6 element and 12 element configurations. Additionally, all mixers are edge sealed to the inside of the housing. The advantages of edge sealing are twofold. Not only does edge sealing increase mixing efficiency, but this bonding method also increases the structural integrity of the entire mixer. All mixers come standard with male NPT threads. Sizes 3/8″ thru 2″ are in stock for immediate delivery.
