Didion Vessel has a wealth of knowledge and experience as a designer and fabricator of custom ASME code pressure vessels. We currently hold the ASME U1, U2, and U3 stamps for pressure vessel fabrication. Because of this, we are able to build and certify units to any of the three divisions of ASME Section VIII. We also hold the NBIC R-Repair stamp, in case you are in need of a repair.

A binder and a reinforcement are the two basic parts that make up the simplest of composites. Manufacturers are able to achieve their desired material traits by weaving, mixing, or layering these parts together. Therefore, these are first made as sheets. After that, the sheets can be formed to a mold. This means that parts can be made of any shape. But, what does the autoclave do in this process? It provides the required pressure, heat, and vacuum to bond and form the prepreg sheets to the shape of the mold.

Autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC), also known as cellular concrete (ACC), is a manufactured concrete that is cured under high pressure steam. However, some may ask, what is it? And also, what is its use? In short, it is a highly insulated concrete based material used for inside and outside construction.

The type DST Model is our most popular line. We design and manufacture these steam, air, or gas moisture (water) separators in the USA, and they are for a horizontal flow configuration. In Addition, they have the same guaranteed separator efficiency as all of our standard models: 99% removal of all entrainment 10 microns and larger.

The type DSL Model is our most cost-effective and compact line of gas (vapor) / liquid separators, which we manufacture and supply. In addition, they work for both vertical down flow and horizontal flow. Also, they have the same guaranteed efficiency of all our standard models, which is a removal of 99% of all droplets and debris 10 microns and larger. Moreover, that efficiency can easily be improved on by the use of mesh pads. We offer a wide variety of custom gas and oil separator vessels to suit your specific needs.

The type DSU Model is the only standard design that we manufacture to operate in a vertical up gas flow. This model can handle large liquid loads while still maintaining separation efficiency. Moreover, it has the same guaranteed efficiency of all our standard models, removing 99% of all entrainment 10 microns and larger. We can easily improve this by making use of mesh pads. In other words, the in-line separator becomes a coalescing separator. One everyday use of these units is the knock-out of water droplets from air after it is compressed. Custom designs are available.
