The EHZ 240 light felling grapple  was specially developed for harvesting energy wood and for initial thinning with a mini excavator. The main focus of our design was to develop a light and robust cutting head with as few moving parts as possible. Material made of high-strength steel HB400 and HB500 is rarely found in this size class of the EHZ 240 grapple felling device . We achieve the outstanding cutting pattern by means of a counter-blade on the moving main arm. We attach the main blade with offset screws in order to be able to demonstrate the highest possible stability and torsional rigidity on the blade.

The  EHZ 320 energy wood shears are designed for harvesting energy wood and especially for initial thinning. The main focus of our design was to develop a light and robust cutting head with as few moving parts as possible. Material made of high-strength steel HB400 with a thickness of 15 mm is rather rare in this size class of the EHZ 320 .
