Dorfmeister - Model EHZ 320 -Grapple Cutter without Slewing Ring
The EHZ 320 felling grapple is designed for harvesting energy wood and especially for initial thinning. The main focus of our design was to develop a light and robust cutting head with as few moving parts as possible. Material made of high-strength steel HB400 with a thickness of 15 mm is rather rare in this size class of the EHZ 320.
- Standard version : The EHZ 320 in the standard version does not have a rotation function. This means that a power tilt or similar device on the excavator is required for flexible positioning of the cutting head to facilitate the work.
- Positioning : Without a slewing ring, the excavator itself must be brought into the correct position in order to optimally position the cutting head on the tree or bush. This can be more difficult on uneven terrain or when the tree is in an unfavorable position.
We achieve the outstanding cutting pattern by means of a counter-blade on the moving main arm. We attach the main blade with offset screws in order to ensure the blade has the highest possible stability and torsional rigidity.
