Differential Pressure Devices

Dosch - Venturi Tubes

Venturi tube according to ISO 5167 for precise flow measurement. When it comes to precisely measuring the flow of aggressive and non-aggressive gases, vapours and liquids, a Venturi tube is an excellent choice. Venturis enable minimal pressure losses at high mass flows. The short inlet and outlet sections are particularly advantageous for this type of differential pressure sensor. From the oil and gas industry to the chemical industry, especially petrochemicals, or even in power stations, our flow meter in accordance with ISO 5167 are used. Due to their precise and reliable measurement, a Venturi flow meter is generally very popular in plant engineering.

Dosch - Restriction Orifice Plates

Restriction orifice plates for effective pressure regulation. To achieve a defined pressure reduction in the processes of your plants or blowout lines, restriction orifice plates are indispensable. A restriction orifice plate is suitable for all single-phase media, for their transport, processing, and forwarding. Restriction orifice plates, also known as a flow restriction orifice, reduce pressure or limit flows in your facilities during regular operations, but also in case of emergencies. Therefore, they are primarily used in the oil and gas industry, the chemical sector, and power plants. However, restriction orifice plates also prove themselves in general plant construction. In specific cases, restriction orifice plates can also be used for throughput limitation.

Dosch - Averaging Pitot Tubes

Averaging pitot tube are primary elements for measuring the flow of gases, steams, and fluids. Compared to differential pressure devices in accordance with ISO 5167, their benefits are their very low pressure losses and very flexible installation options.

Dosch - Wedge Flow Meters

Wedge meters are particularly suitable for flow measurement in the case of low Reynolds numbers and fluids containing solids. Their design results in significantly less wear than for orifice plates.

Dosch - Cone Flow Meters

Cone meters are used to measure the flow of gases, steams, and fluids. They are particularly suitable for plants in which only a short, straight inlet section is available.

Dosch - Orifice Plates with Flange Taps

Orifice plates BLS 100 are used to measure the flow of aggressive and non-aggressive gases, vapors and liquids, especially in large pipelines.

Dosch - Flow Nozzles

Nozzles are used as differential pressure devices to measure the flow of aggressive and non-aggressive gases, vapors and liquids. The pressure loss is lower compared to orifices. For this, higher measurement uncertainties must be expected in some cases. In terms of uncertainty and pressure loss, nozzles represent a middle ground between Venturi tubes and orifices.

Dosch - Meter Runs Combine Primary Elements

Meter runs combine primary elements with an inlet and outlet section and thus ensure low-interference flow measurement of aggressive and non-aggressive gases, vapors and liquids. They are mainly used in small pipelines, as this is where the influence of disturbances is greatest.

Dosch - Orifice Plates for Pressure Tapping Fittings

Orifice plate according to ISO 5167 – Your reliable and cost-effective choice for flow measurement. Rely on orifice plates according to ISO 5167 for precise flow measurement of fluids in pipelines. An orifice plate is characterized by its sharp-edged inlet, generating a defined differential pressure used to calculate the volumetric or mass flow rate. The orifice plate coefficient of discharge accounts for all losses that occur when a fluid passes through the plate. Thanks to their standardization based on the ISO 5167 standard, our orifice plates offer accurate and reproducible measurements, as well as easy comparability and interchangeability. Our standard orifice plate is a 65mm orifice plate.

Flow Switch

Dosch - Flow Monitor System

These devices are suitable for use cases involving shocks at the installation location, in contaminated media, and for mobile operation in any location. The use of a pitot tube enables even lower flows to be monitored. The flexible bellows seal prevents the function from being affected by metal chips, which are to be anticipated during lubricating oil checks on gear units.
