DP - Medium Speed Screen-less Hammer Mill

The DP Impact Pulveriser is a medium-speed, screen-less hammer mill that integrates feeding, grinding, and air classifying into a compact unit. It is designed to grind materials to medium fineness, using an adjustable whizzer classifier to achieve particle sizes ranging from 60 to 300 mesh. The mill's durability and versatility make it suitable for continuous operation in harsh conditions and diverse applications, including food, chemicals, minerals, and more. Driven by a single motor, the flexibility of this mill extends to its adjustable gap between the whizzer classifier and the whizzer cone, allowing for precise control over particle size. It can effectively handle materials from 0 to 25 mm and processes outputs from 10 kg/hr to 3000 kg/hr. An integrated impeller eliminates the need for an external fan, facilitating the pneumatic conveyance of materials out of the grinding chamber. For specific applications, such as grinding turmeric, the mill can include water-jacketed serrated liners to prevent heating and essential oil loss, as well as a check vibratory sifter for removing coarse fibers.

The internal fan is customizable to either a single or two-piece design, with an external fan design also available for applications requiring precise airflow control. The grinding chamber can be cooled via liners designed with water jackets, enhancing the operational efficiency and longevity of the machine.
