They are a newly designed  PET water bottle.  PET also known as  Polyethylene Terephalate, it is often used for soft drink containers, juices, edible foods and water.  PET is an ideal material for these products as it is strong but light weight, has excellent barrier properties and does not contain the harmful chemical Bisphenol A unlike some food packaging materials packaged with #7 (Polycarbonate) plastic.
