The KTA 1401 certification includes the development and production of relay modules and relays as well as safety-, control- and monitoring systems for nuclear facilities. The KTA 1401 certification is a set of rules for the quality management of nuclear power plants, which follows the QM standard ISO 9001 and additionally includes specific requirements for the nuclear power plant sector.
