Eastern Applied Research began as a regional service provider for x-ray fluorescence instruments. Technical associates offered on-site calibration, consultation and repair services with a focus on the East Coast of the United States. Those associates saw the need for complete solutions relating to XRF Technology from a single source and began an in-house standards laboratory as well as offering new and used XRF analyzers for their clients testing needs.

In time, through the organizations dedication to offering efficient response times and competitive pricing (an overall dedication to customer satisfaction) the client list grew and demanded additional technical staff be added to support that demand.  Expanding the on-site service personal to include representatives to cover Central and Western United States was the next step in the evolution of this complete service provider.  Now, in the twentieth year of operation, Eastern Applied provides service and support throughout North America - covering Canada and Mexico with bi-lingual service personal as needed.

Over the past two decades, Eastern Applied's core technical staff has developed a complete working knowledge of a range of XRF analyzer models and the field staff receives extensive training on each model to insure a satisfactory experience for the client.  XRF Sales has expanded from just used XRF analyzers to include new analyzers from the Hitachi High-Tech Science Corporation line of equipment.

Hitachi High-Tech Analyzers:
All x-ray fluorescence analyzers from Hitachi are known for high reliability and precision.  Multiple systems are available for testing the primary applications of coating thickness measurements (from basic, single layer, to ultra thin film applications) and screening of hazardous substances (RoHS).  Additionally, a combination of Transmission X-ray (TXRF) and ED-XRF provides contamination screening of raw materials used in the development of Lithium-Ion Batteries (EA-8000 analyzer).
