SVHC are substances of very high concern that belong to one of the following categories: - Carcinogenic, Mutagenic or toxic for reproduction substances (CMR category 1 or 2) - Persistent, Bioaccumulative and Toxic substances (PBT) - Very Persistent and very Bioaccumulative substances (vPvB) - Endocrine disruptor substances The goal for the industry is to reduce as much as possible the use of SVHC substances and substitute them. In the meantime, article manufacturers should be able to track down the presence of SVHC in articles at more than 0,1% (weight by weight). EcoMundo ensures your SVHC traceability: - EcoMundo contacts your suppliers in order to verify the potential presence of SVHC above 0.1% (w/w) in your products. - EcoMundo uses the web tool SVHC Factory to identify the concerned references and directly realise the validation online.

The Safety Data Sheet is the tool carrying all the relevant information concerning the chemical safety of the manufacturer, the importer, or the downstream user along the supply chain. EcoMundo ensures the update of your SDS to a REACH-compliant format: - Creation and update of SDS EcoMundo creates and updates the SDS of your substances in compliance with REACH and amendment 453/2010: integration of relevant data using the new format, inclusion of the CLP classification, etc. - Creation of extended SDS (eSDS) An eSDS is required if an evaluation of the chemical security has been made for the registration dossier. EcoMundo creates the eSDS: integration of relevant data in the appropriate section of the SDS, creation of annexes including exposure scenario and risk management measures.

Under REACH, it is the entity within the EU, responsible for placing the substance on the European market, that has REACH obligations. This means that non-EU companies cannot fulfil the requirements of REACH themselves.
