Using the EcoClean ACRS reactor system, organic oily contaminants are permanently chemically modified, turning them into surfactants and emulsifiers, thereby increasing the cleaner`s ability to remove more oil, grease and dirt.  The EcoClean ACRS (Aqueous Cleaner Regeneration System) line of systems regenerates aqueous cleaning solutions in process, which creates a valuable emulsion cleaner, reduces wastewater generated, reduces make-up soap requirements, and increases operational uptime and throughput.

The EcoClean Companion BioReactor is appropriate for biotreatment of any waste water stream that is already biodegradable or that has already been pretreated to convert biotoxins into biodegradable compounds. In some cases start up pH adjustment followed by periodic manual re-adjustment or automated control of pH will be needed. Automated pH control is available as an option.

The EcoClean Integrated Pretreatment BioReactor System is appropriate for a much wider range of contaminates and situations than the ECBR system. Many highly toxic organic compounds including many phenols, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and aromatic compounds can be pretreated first in batches with the IPBR system then switched over to biotreatment in the bioreaction mode using the same IPBR system. Process capacity can be increased by using the IPBR for the pretreatment step only and then using a Companion BioReactor for the final treatment. Clean water and filterable biomass are the final products. In some cases start up pH adjustment followed by periodic manual re-adjustment or automated control of pH will be needed. When combined with EcoShield`s ACRS technology to regenerate used cleaners, the EcoPro process control packages allow you to control the cleaner and rinse regeneration process as well as the chemical make up feeds for metal phosphate and plating solution baths.
