Environmental Impact Assessment and Approvals

EFLA offers comprehensive services in the management and preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and approvals for projects, regardless of scale or scope. As these processes often overlap with planning issues, they can be complex and time consuming, and to accommodate this we strive to provide holistic and integrated approaches for developers. In addition to our in-house EAI team, EFLA places string emphasis on working with the best in each field and on close cooperation with other experts on every project issue.

Environmental Management

EFLA offers clients a full range of services in environmental and safety management, including environmental audits, operation permits and consulting on pollution protection. At the same time, the company provides environmental impact assessment for products and processes, as well as life cycle assessments, advice on sustainable procurement, consultation on green accounting and the calculation of carbon footprint. EFLA provides also provides licensed BREEAM Assessors to carry out BREEAM assessments for sustainable buildings.

Environmental Engineering Services

EFLA provides cost-effective solutions to water treatment and wastewater collection, designs drainage and water distribution systems. EFLA has extensive experience in establishing solid waste management systems and recycle programmess, as well as in designing landfills and advising on how to combat air water and soil pollution.

Geotechnical Engineering Services

EFLA provides a first-class range of services in this specialised field. This includes site investigations for construction purposes or planning, geotechnical design and rock mechanics, tunnelling feasibility studies and design, construction supervision in tunnels and large-scale earthworks and inspection of fill materials.

GIS and Geodesy Services

Harnessing the latest in GIS technology, EFLA provides expert consultancy in all aspects of GIS and Geodesy, providing grids, maps and coordinates both for clients and other divisions of the company. To achieve this, the team employs a range of state-of-the-art tools, among them AutoDesk MapGuide, which is used to portray data, and Granni, a dedicated software programme designed in-house for communal use within the company. For GPS surveying, EFLA is equipped with eight L1/L2 GPS receivers from Trimble and Trimble Buisness Control software for post-prosessing GPS data, adjusting fixed-point networks and other calculations.
