MGPS

Impressed Current Anti Fouling (ICAF)

Water used for cooling, evaporators, firefighting, and other ancillary systems. Marine growth (algae, mussels, barnacles, etc.) can quickly reproduce and grow in the warm conditions. Without an effective solution to prevent bio-fouling, these systems will run at abnormally high temperatures, resulting in unnecessary increased fuel consumption, lower performance and higher wear and tear of the vessel’s engine(s), making failures more likely to occur.

Pump Mounted MGPS

Marine Growth Prevention System that are designed to prevent blockages in seawater lines caused by the growth of barnacles and mussels. The system has been successfully applied to all types of offshore structures including oil rigs, oil platforms, semi-submersible and jack-up rigs using seawater for cooling or emergency fire fighting purposes.

Cathodic Protection

Total Hull Protection - Impressed Current Cathodic Protection

EICS provides a comprehensive solution for ensuring the longevity and protection of submerged structures with its E-CATHO ICCP system. The Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) employs a sophisticated mechanism that utilizes highly reliable zinc reference electrodes in combination with MMO/Ti or Pt/Ti anodes to deliver controlled DC currents across submerged surfaces. This process is meticulously regulated by a specialized controller power unit that minimizes corrosion and maximizes the lifespan of the structures. The MMO/Ti coatings on the anodes are designed to exceed 15 years of service life. Zinc reference electrodes have proven their durability over time, making them the preferred choice. Moreover, the ICCP system's design allows for underwater replacements, ensuring that vessels remain operational even during maintenance. The power control unit provides real-time monitoring and reporting to guarantee consistent protection, making EICS's ICCP system a reliable and cost-effective solution with up to 20 years of operational lifespan.

Sacrificial Protection using Aluminium and Zinc Anodes

Provide cost effective solutions against corrosion. All anodes are cast from high grade material to ensure an even corrosion pattern, reliable electrical efficiency and long working life.

Electrochlorination

EICS - ECHLOR Electrochlorination System

The ECHLOR Electrochlorination System by EICS Technology leverages the latest advancements in marine research and technology to effectively control marine growth within internal seawater systems. This system is designed to inject chlorine at the suction point, preventing the buildup of marine organisms. By utilizing electrolysis, the system generates chlorine from seawater itself, ensuring that pipelines and other components remain free from fouling. The process involves channeling a portion of seawater to a generating chamber where it is electrolyzed, producing chlorine, sodium hydroxide, and hydrogen. The chlorine-infused water is then injected into cooling systems to prevent organism adherence. Notably, the technology includes features such as compact size, reduced calcareous deposits, minimal maintenance, and explosion-proof solutions, making it highly efficient and reliable for marine applications. Additionally, EICS Technology utilizes Magneto special anodes to enhance system quality and durability, ensuring long-lasting protection and minimal environmental impact.
