EIW - Attrition Scrubbers for Grain-on-Grain Scrubbing
Eagle Iron Works' Attrition Scrubbers are engineered to deliver high-intensity scrubbing of fine materials, specifically designed to handle particles measuring minus 5mm x 0. These machines ensure a long-lasting performance due to their use of wear-resistant materials in the construction of high-wear components and heavy US gauge steel for the tank. They include clean-out pipes for efficient discharge and a removable drive assembly for simplified maintenance. The working principle involves sand slurry entering the attrition cells where turbine blade propellers create inter-particle abrasion, facilitating the removal of foreign material. The machine’s efficiency is optimized by a continuous feed of material at 65% to 85% solids, following which a Fine Material Washer is recommended for further processing. Key features include a heavy-duty design, five-bladed propellers, and rubber-lined wear surfaces for durability.
EIW - Blade Mills for Rock and Sand Processing
Blade Mills are specialized machines used in various applications to initiate the removal of light, loamy clay or dirt from coarse rock or sand before further processing. Unlike Coarse Material Washers, Blade Mills operate at a shallow slope of 0° to 5° without an overflow, requiring material and water to exit through a discharge opening at the bottom. Featuring shafts with alternating paddles and flights, these units effectively scour and abrade deleterious materials, enhancing cleaning efficiency. Depending on configuration, they discharge material onto screens or dewatering equipment for further processing. Blade Mills are particularly effective for higher capacity operations due to their distinctive mechanism and layout. EIW, LLC offers Blade Mills engineered to meet the specific needs of their clients, providing ongoing support and ensuring the availability of replacement parts throughout the machine's operational life.

EIW - Classifying Tanks for Water Scalping and Sand Separation
Eagle Iron Works provides Classifying Tanks designed for efficient water scalping and sand separation applications, vital for industries involved in dredging and material pumping. These tanks excel in removing vast quantities of water from slurry feeds, segregating excess particles, and retaining finer mesh sizes for multiple product outputs. With fully automated sand reblending software, these systems support consistent, reliable sand specifications and facilitate applications encompassing concrete, masonry, and specialty sands. The effective hydraulic classification is enhanced through optional rising current classifiers, improving suspension of finer particles while allowing coarser aggregates to settle. Available in stationary, semi-portable, and portable configurations, these tanks provide flexibility for plant setup and customization, meeting different operational requirements. Engineered for low maintenance and adaptability to both slurry and dry feeds, Eagle Iron Works' solutions promise reduced waste and smooth handling of feed fluctuations, critical for maintaining product quality and performance.

EIW - Coarse Material Washers
Eagle Iron Works Coarse Material Washers are engineered to clean rock efficiently by removing deleterious materials from gravel or crushed stone feeds. These machines offer light to moderate scrubbing, effectively eliminating soluble clays and dust coatings typically found in natural and crushed stone applications. Featuring an arrangement of alternating spiral flights and paddles on the conveyor shaft, the washers scrub and break down clays or crusher dust attached to feed particles. The design allows for the removal of these undesirable materials via a rising current of water that overflows the weirs. Available in single or double screw configurations to suit various capacity requirements, the largest model features a 48” x 24’ Double Screw with a capacity of 500-600 tph. These units are equipped with either a heavy-duty gear reducer or a standard Dodge reducer. The adjustable end weir enhances the washer's ability to discard lightweight deleterious materials, such as twigs and coal, ensuring a clean end product.
EIW - Dewatering Screens
Eagle Iron Works' Dewatering Screens are engineered to enhance the drying efficiency of products processed through sand screws, significantly reducing the moisture content from approximately 20% down to 7-10%. Integrating these screens with any brand of screw washer not only accelerates the drying time but also conserves valuable stockpiling space. Built with robust urethane screen media and wear liners, this product is capable of withstanding high G-forces, ensuring durability and efficiency. An optional divider deck allows for product separation, and a unique feature enables controlled fines return to the screw washer, optimizing water usage. Operating horizontally, without forming water pools, the dewatering screen creates a high sand discharge point for easy conveyor stacking, while additional spray bars offer fine material cleansing. With over 150 years of experience, Eagle Iron Works delivers tailored, high-quality aggregate processing equipment.
