GITA* is a scanning device, which moves the radioactivity detector along 1 trace from start to finish and goes to the next pre-programmed trace position and scans that trace with individual nuclide settings. Forinuclides, GITA* uses a scintillation probe with a BGO crystal. Due to its density, BGO has a quite high stopping power for radiation and a reasonable energy resolution. BGO is mechanically stable and non-hydroscopic. Relative small size and special shape enable a sophisticated design of the scintillation probe.

One of the main applications in SPECT and PET laboratories is residual solvent control. One of the advantage of our solution is that the GC system is controllable by the same software as other radio-instruments delivered by Elysia-Raytest.

The GABI Nova is a versatile state-of-the-art radio flow monitor optimally suited for radio flow measurements in nuclear medicine, SPECT or PET laboratories. A large range of detector probes and flow cells allow the system to be applied to all types of activities and isotopes. The correct combination ensures the highest detection capability with the best signal to noise ratio for each application.

As sample sizes in a QC lab are very small we have chosen a High-Purity Germanium (HPGe) Well Detector providing high efficiency because the sample is virtually surrounded by active detector material. The Well detector is fabricated with a blind hole, leaving at least 15 mm of active detector thickness at the bottom of the well and approaching a 4π counting geometry.

For the routine determination of endotoxins Elysia has chosen the Endosafe NexGen from Charles River Laboratories. The system is a FDA licensed endotoxin detection system. It is a rapid point of use test system that provides quantitative test results in less than 15 minutes. The technology utilizes licensed LAL reagents in a disposable cartridge using the PTS for a completely contained, real time endotoxin assay. The PTS is perfect in a conventional quality control setting and is fully implemented in Elysia Turn-Key solutions.

Osmometers are used in the quality control of injectable radiopharmaceutics to determine total osmolality. ur Osmometer determines the osmolality by measuring the freezing point depression of the liquid sample. The Osmolality describes the concentration of osmotic effective particles in the sample solutions. This is independent from type, composition or electrical charge of the solution, because it refers to the mass of the solution. The system provides simple handling with a short measuring time. The system can be easily calibrated with commercially available certified standard. (2 or 3 points calibration).

Radio-chromatography faces a range of challenges. Depending on the application, the isotope, the required sensitivity, dynamic range, resolution and radioprotection requirements may be very different. Elysia-raytest provides different combinations of radio detectors for PET and SPECT with dedicated HPLC instruments. We have developed special system combinations and modifications to deliver high performance solutions for dedicated applications.

A simple and intuitive pH measurement device allowing the digital transfer of the measurement. The PH strip reader is a revolutionary step in test strip analysis. With this new system, we offer an entirely objective way to read pH test strips, making the system particularly suitable if results are critical to your decision making. The system simplifies testing procedures and the decision processes by eliminating the subjectivity of visual readings and by providing higher accuracy. Especially the fact that you don’t need calibration buffers and minimum quantities for a pH probe makes the work with radioactive probes much easier.

CR 35 Bio is a compact high-speed scanner for all flexible types of image plates / storage phosphor screens up to the size of 35 x 43 cm. In combination with the corresponding imaging plate it can be used for a variety of different nuclides, such as 3H, 11C, 14C, 18F, 32P, 33P, 35S, 59Fe, 68Ga, 99mTc, 111In, 125I, 131I, 137Cs, etc.

SAFIRA is our automated sterile filter integrity test. The SAFIRA-System is used to verify the integrity of sterile filters. It provides a Hands-free inline sterile filter test in distribution lines. We have developed a method, which makes it possible to test the filter integrity immediately after a radiopharmaceutical synthesis without exposing the operator to radiation. SAFIRA can be implemented in existing radiopharmaceutical installations. Up to 3 detection satellites can be controlled by one interface. The stand-alone version can be adapted to any PET synthesizer.
