ENERCALC provides one software package named the Structural Engineering Library (SEL). That name has been continually in use by ENERCALC since 1982 when we released our first set of 26 Lotus 1-2-3 templates.

ENERCALC for Autodesk™ Revit™ simplifies structural design by bridging the gap between calculation and documentation. It allows engineers to access the familiar power of ENERCALC SEL as a seamless real-time extension of your Revit environment. ENERCALC’s use of the Revit API results in fast-paced, intuitive design with no import/export process.

The core of ENERCALC SEL (Structural Engineering Library) is its calculation modules. Dating back to 1982 when the Structural Engineering Library was released as a set of spreadsheet templates, our modules are designed as “fill-in-the-blanks” style of interactive programs. Simply type in a value and the resulting analysis or design is instantly there for your review.

Your ENERCALC subscription provides CLOUD (browser-based) access to the entire SEL (Structural Engineering Library) software package. With our cloud platform, you can access SEL from html5 browsers on almost any device – and even use project files you created using our installed version of SEL. While you access SEL from a browser, you’re really using the same SEL that you’re already familiar with on your desktop. As with our installed software, you can access all SEL modules, including ENERCALC 3D. Your project files are stored in redundant AWS data centers and are backed up continually. Every version of your cloud-based project file is saved and all historical versions of your projects are retained.
