We work together with our clients to overcome complex environmental obstacles and provide guidance through complicated regulations to achieve the client`s objectives. Helping our clients with real estate and business transactions both domestically and internationally is part of ESI`s core services. ESI integrates with the client`s team of professionals to ensure that all aspects of environmental concern are reviewed from investigation to cleanup.

ESI`s project team has the expertise to provide services from the remedial investigation to the design/build of the remedial system. We have had success in dealing with complex remedial issues in soil, groundwater and vapor. ESI`s focus is on identifying an appropriate remedial strategy that can achieve site closure as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible. This approach continues through the implementation and maintenance of the selected remedy, further streamlining the cost and timeframe necessary to achieve cleanup goals and client objectives.

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) now requires Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRPs) to provide oversight for environmental investigations and cleanups required under the NJDEP Site Remediation Program. ESI has LSRPs on staff to provide these services. ESI`s major growth began at the same time the NJDEP instituted its Environmental Cleanup Responsibility Act (ECRA) program (the predecessor of the Industrial Site Recovery Act [ISRA]), which required property cleanups prior to business and real estate transactions. The basic services provided in our early years focused on assessing sites for suspect areas of concern (AOCs), investigating contaminated AOCs, developing clean-up plans, and implementing cost-effective remedial approaches.
