We hold a licence from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to directly supervise licensable work with asbestos, and provide services including project management, identification of asbestos fibres, asbestos surveying, air monitoring and fibre counting. Our chemical analysis department has specific expertise in sampling and testing of waters, dust, air and soils.

Envirochem is an independent organisation offering a comprehensive analytical and consultancy service covering environmental, health and safety concerns for the last 26 years.
We are MCERTS accredited by the Environment Agency for analysis of soils.

We have an extensive capability for common environmental testing procedures and knowledge of the Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
Routine testing includes:
Enumeration of total coliforms
Enumeratoion of E. Coli
Total colony counts at 37°C and 22°C
Additional testing includes:
Total coliform count for soil samples
Legionella identification
We also carry out biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) tests on environmental and waste water samples.
Samples can be taken by our analysts or delivered to our branch in Hampshire. Results are provided in the form of digital reports sent via email in PDF format, once analysis is complete, for ease of record and receipt.
