Environmental Industries Commission (EIC)

The Environmental Industries Commission (EIC) champions new environmental markets to Government and other stakeholders, representing the views of around 70 members. We represent the companies, large and small, working in the environmental technologies and services sector. The environment sector adds an estimated £29 billion a year to the economy, or 1.6% of the UK’s GDP and employs more than 370,000 people. We work to ensure environmental policies are thoughtful and progressive, regulations clear and enforced, innovation rewarded, and finance and export opportunities are available. With world-leading facilities, these laboratories test samples from projects from all over the world.
