Site Assessment and Remediation

Environmental Services, Inc.`s (ESI) Site Assessment and Remediation Division facilitates commercial property transactions and maximizes the value of land. ESI employees perform due diligence studies to assess for potential contamination and provide solutions for the rehabilitation of impacted properties to applicable environmental standards. Specializing in an increasingly complex regulatory arena, ESI has developed close working relationships with federal, state and local agency personnel to achieve Site Rehabilitation Completion Orders (SRCOs) and No Further Action (NFA) status for site redevelopment or facility compliance.

Land Management Planning

Environmental Services, Inc. (ESI) offers comprehensive land management planning, including the assessment of current conditions and the development of integrated resource management plans addressing the enhancement of ecological conditions, maximization of revenue, and the improvement of recreational opportunities. This includes the opportunity to generate non-traditional revenue from ecosystem services such as carbon credits, wildlife habitat credits, wetland mitigation credits, and recreational leases, as well as connecting landowners with funding from government cost-share programs, non-profit conservation groups, and similar.

Soil and Groundwater Remediation

ESI’s Site Assessment and Remediation team will utilize comprehensive vertical and horizontal assessment data and hydrogeologic parameters to design site specific cleanup plans for your site. Whether the goal is Interim Remedial Action or Source Removal, active remediation, or long-term, passive remediation in the form of Natural Attenuation Monitoring, we will choose the most cost-effective cleanup method and facilitate regulatory agency oversight and approval of the project from commencement to completion of a Site Rehabilitation Completion Order or No Further Action Status.

Brownfields Assessments

Environmental Services, Inc (ESI) regularly performs Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments in Brownfields Redevelopment Areas, and can assist with reimbursement for contamination assessment and remediation of impacted properties that meet the requirements and definition of a Brownfields Project.

HUD Environmental Assessments

Environmental Services, Inc. (ESI) has experienced HUD-trained employees who evaluate the effects of client proposed projects on the character, features and resources of each project area. ESI can assist financial assistance recipients (or Responsible Entity) in determining what level of environmental review is appropriate for their project and conduct whatever review is necessary to comply with all HUD environmental review requirements.
