Remediation & Construction Oversight Services
ERG personnel have extensive experience in minimizing the installed cost and completion schedule for those projects whose small size or other conditions make design-install economically preferable. In cases where a system is required, we recommend off-site fabricated process equipment in a self-contained structure designed for easy maintenance, then using field-run piping and electrical. This approach allows a “factory pre-test” of components and control systems prior to delivery to the site, which reduces startup and shakedown time, and ultimately leads to high system up-time.
Environmental Engineering Services
ERG personnel have actively planned and/or conducted corrective action on over 200 releases in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Oklahoma, California, and Milan, Italy. ERG plans corrective actions based on understanding and considering all aspects of the available solutions, including the Client goals for cost, schedule, outcome predictability, regulator involvement, and convenience. In many cases we are able to recommend a conceptual approach for a particular site or circumstance based on a brief discussion with the Client combined with a short site walk and review of available site information (such as an ESA, Release Notification, or preliminary characterization work). This capability allows us and our Client to spend a larger percentage of time and energy where it is needed in the early stages of a project, which is to quickly develop options and courses of action allowing our Client to make informed business decisions early in the project.
Project Management & Delivery Services
We have applied our project management skills for 25 years, on projects ranging from a few hundred to a few million dollars, on hundreds of multi-task projects in the environmental industry. A well-planned and well-managed project provides our Clients with timely and accurate communication with respect to four basic project management principles.
System Operation & Maintenance Services
Over the years ERG has provided system operation and maintenance at minimum cost for many systems we have designed and installed. Typically, we have found that any system that has been designed without careful attention to the long-term ease of maintenance and operation are costly and problematic. Ease of maintenance and high run-times mean reduced cost and faster site cleanup.
