Eranova
Our technology uses green macro algae stranded on beaches, a pollutant, as a resource for the production of bio-based, recyclable, compostable resins. This is called Upcycling. Green algae is a massive resource with uncontrolled growth that pollutes beaches and seas. Its management and elimination is a major environmental concern for cities and states, which must manage this pollution with the highest rigour. Our disruptive and patented process allows the transformation of green algae into several types of resins adapted to the different transformation processes in the plastics industry. We produce 4 types of resins. They are all bio-based and have a low carbon impact. All of our resins have no long-term impact on the environment. Depending on the application, they are compostable, biodegradable, reusable or recyclable.
